Cristiano Ronaldo broke his silence after scoring his 500th league goal on Thursday after netting four times for Al Wehda for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr in December after his contract with Manchester United was terminated, initially struggled in his new home.

The 38-year-old did score against Riyadh XI in the 5-4 friendly defeat by PSG, but he is yet to feature for Al Nassr. He finally broke his duck in the team's previous league match against Al Fateh. The match ended in a 2–2 draw with Ronaldo scoring the equalizer that ultimately saved the tie for his team. But on Thursday, the Portuguese superstar decided to roll back the years and slammed four past Al Wehda. Ronaldo started the game in the 21st minute and made it 2-0 19 minutes later.

Ronaldo completed the hat trick from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute of the game. Eight minutes later he capped it off with a strike to make it an enjoyable evening for Al Nassr fans. Ronaldo would have passed the 500 league goal mark with his effort on Thursday. The 38-year-old has now scored 503 league goals for five clubs in five different top leagues.

Ronaldo took to Instagram and said he felt great after his exploits on Thursday and reaching the new landmark. "Great feeling to have scored 4 goals and reaching my 500th league goal in a very solid win by the team!" said Ronaldo.
